Vegan Garlic Alfredo Sauce 1 medium white onion, chopped 1-2 cups low sodium vegetable broth, separated 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 3-4 large garlic cloves, minced 1/2 heaping cup raw whole cashews (soaked for 5 hours if you don't have a high powered blender) 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or more to your taste, I added a little more, do not omit!) 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
Vegan Garlic Alfredo Sauce; very good!! Used "active yeast" as that's what I had on hand. Might taste different with nutritional yeast. A little too much lemon juice, but I didn't actually measure, just used the juice of one small lemon.
