So what's the deal with vinyl spray paint: does it work, or is it a waste of time? I put three different paints to the test on three of the exact same chairs and was pretty surprised with the results.

I've discovered the miracle that is VINYL SPRAY PAINT! At least two coats needed ( the first coat dries hazy). I used Rustoleum brand, found at any home improvement store, cost between $4 and $6 dollars a can. I used a total of five cans on this leather chair. Then I used a Sharpie oil paint pen in metallic gold to go over the upholstery tack detail.
