An investigation by environmental volunteers and The Toronto Star has uncovered the "bombshell revelation" that soil surrounding an old paper mill is contaminated with mercury, amounting to what many are calling a "smoking gun" in the ongoing poisoning of the Grassy Narrows First Nation community.
In 2016 we had over 1800 volunteers come together to support over 500 families in Toronto! Not only was this our biggest year yet but the feedback we've been receiving from our 'adopted' families has been stronger than ever. Together we're helping underprivileged families work towards a better life. By showing them hope and support we're encouraging them to improve their situations.
