DIY HIDE TV CORDS - Remove tv from mounting bracket & set aside. Locate area for cords (make sure they are easily accessible, but hidden by tv). Use drywall saw to cut hole. Cut another hole directly below 1st hole toward bottom of wall. Use fish tape or stiff wire to bring cords up thru wall. There are now a variety of products available to give a prof look-buy them 1st to ensure proper hole sizes! Hook up & re-mount tv!
Here's the whole media wall I finished the other day for the Dosters. The sliding door media console I built for her was the perfect solution for her massive tv wall. And the brackets I found from @homedepot for the scaffolding plank shelves work so well with the door track.
Most wall mounts for flat panel displays are bulky, ugly, and require a lot of work to install. This solution negates all of that and even has a built in level to make sure you hang that sucker perfectly.
