I loved this book. I found its message (to me) that our lives take paths that later seem inevitable one tiny step at a time, and that we end up places that we never intended to be. When Alice loses her memory, she has the opportunity to find out all over again what was really important. A keeper.
What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty. I really enjoy her writing and her storytelling. This was no exception. Reading it mostly on Valentine's Day draped in a feverish little boy was well-times to remind me to not take my loved ones for granted in all the flurry. What would my 10-year-younger self think of me today...? Does that matter? What a great thought exercise.
