I really like this picture of Jesus because it is difficult to tell what race he is. It looks like he could be African-American but he also looks, like he could be Hispanic. He could even be Caucasian. Nowhere in the bible does it say what Jesus looks like. I like how it allowed me to interpret the painting similar to how you have to interpret the bible in your own way.
J is for Jesus I do believe. Red is for His blood He gave for me. White stands for Holiness and setting people free. And the staff is for the Sheppard who we follow as He leads. -Christmas Song sung by sweet threes!
Our preschoolers will be learning about how God is Healer through looking at how Jesus healed a blind man. This week the 4 and 5 year old children will use peas to create the word "Healer" in braille and color a picture of the blind man to remind them of how the man used his other senses before being healed!
