His character, Trooper Duffy, was an old coot who constantly bragged about being the only survivor of The Alamo and of being Davy Crockett's best friend.   I later learned that Bob Steele had been a great cowboy star of the 1930s.   A revelation that ranks with finding out that Jackie "Uncle Fester" Coogan was THE biggest child star of the silent era.

Frankenstein movie poster by movie poster GOD Drew Struzan. I read he had ALWAYS wanted to do a poster for this horror classic and was contacted by Mondo Tees for a screening that was being done at the Alamo Drafthouse. This is an amazing piece that harkens back to the old movie posters of the 40's from when this film originated. The colors and textures Drew, OH MY!!!! Brazilliant!!!
