This is the area of northern California where the giant Redwoods are located, which is about 150 miles north of San Francisco (drive straight up Hwy. 101). If there is any place that you want to put on your "must see" list, I would say that this is it. Don't go to Muir Woods National Park and say "I've seen the Redwoods." You haven't seen "the Redwoods" until you've gone into the Avenue Of The Giants.
The Holy Trinity, with the Virgin and Saint John and donors (Italian: Santa Trinità ) is a fresco by the Early Italian Renaissance painter Masaccio. It is located in the Dominican church of Santa Maria Novella, in Florence.
This is the Carson House and its long been one of my favorites. I love the multiple roof lines and fanciful windows. The porch is a dream, I only wish the covered walk to the entrance wasn't present---I'm sure the front door is to die for!
