He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed...the LORD laid on Him the sins of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6

Where was Jesus Crucified, Buried and Resurrected? In a prior year I wrote a post about my wife, Lynn, and I going to the Holy Land and viewing the two sites that are the prime candidates for the answers to the questions about the location of Jesus’ crucifixion, burial and resurrection. It was a fascinating and solemn time of reflection. Its worth your time to read it and watch the CBN HD video either for the first time or once again this year.

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is the holiest site in Jerusalem, and of all Christianity. Located within the Church is the Tomb of Christ, with steps leading up to Golgotha (Calvary) where Christ was crucified. The church was built around the tomb in 330AD by Emperor Constantine. Pilgrims can see the place where Jesus' body was laid, as well as a piece of the stone that was rolled away.
