Rachelle Ferrell, vocalist and musician. Although she has had success in R+B, pop, gospel, and classical music, she is noted for her talents as a contemporary jazz singer. She has developed a 6 octave range, which also includes the ability to sing in the whistle register. Attending the Berklee College of Music, and graduating a year later, she taught music for the NJ Council on the Arts. She sang backup for Lou Rawls, Patti LaBelle and Vanessa Williams before releasing her own music.
