With wind gusts expected to reach as high as 36 mph Tuesday, Feb. 24, Jackson County is under a winter weather advisory until 7 p.m. Snow is expected to hold off in the Jackson until the midafternoon, but blowing snow and a steady wind as high as 25 mph could cause some traffic hazards.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Nassau County, New York & Western Suffolk County, New York that will go into effect tonight at midnight, and stay in effect until 6 PM Saturday night.
