Today in WW2 history: 2/26/1936 Adolf opens 1st VW plant in Germany w/ Ferdinand Porsche. Hitler was so taken with Porsche's 1934 Volkswagen (people's car) Beetle design that he called the engineer 'brilliant'. Both Hitler & Stalin vied for Porsche's favor and service. The new plant built near the castle Wolfsburg would only produce 630 of the cars during World War Two - all of which were distributed to the privileged.

Afro-Caribbeans are the descendants of West Africans shipped in the slave trade to the West Indies (to English, French, Dutch, Spanish, and Portuguese colonies founded from the 16th century). Since World War II many Afro-Caribbeans have migrated to North America and to Europe, especially to the USA, the UK, and the Netherlands.
