The Genius of Juan Contreras, Pastry Chef

The desserts I've had over the years at Crenn. Just brilliant. Most of these are my personal photos and may be used with credit to FoodandWineMavens.com © 2015 All Rights Reserved

The first dessert of Juan's that I tasted and I'd love to have it back. It's delicious and nostalgic for me.

Circa May - Aug 2013 - another delicious dessert that was a play on peanut butter and jelly. I believe it was grape and hazelnut.

Aug 2011 - Apologies to Chef Juan for my terrible camera phone at the time! Another dessert with spectacular bright taste and elaborate presentation (with a bell jar). It was called "tomato" and really hit you with surprise strawberry flavor. I believe it took too many pounds of fresh produce to create this little tomato so this dessert wasn't served for long.
