My short rib ragu is a classic recipe of mine that I’ve made for ages. I gave it an update with Hunt’s San Marzano style tomatoes, and adapted it to the slow cooker to make it extra simple. I think this would be a perfect dish to make for Valentine’s day, or any special day – you can relax while the short ribs braise to tender perfection in the slow cooker!

Beef Ricotta Meatballs
Ricotta is one of my favorite ingredients to add to meatballs – I love my meatballs to be light and not dense, and the ricotta gives it an amazingly tender texture. These meatballs gain so much flavor from simmering away in your favorite marinara sauce. I like to serve them simply over some arugula or with roasted vegetables, and some crusty bread on the side is a great addition.

Herbed Lamb Chops
Grilled lamb chops might sound intimidating, but this recipe couldn’t be easier. They're perfect for Easter dinner! The tender lamb is seasoned with herbes de Provence and served over a bed of arugula and shaved parmesan. Herbes de Provence is a super flavorful and savory spice blend that originated in southeastern France. If grilling isn’t your thing, the chops can also be roasted in a 475° oven for six to seven minutes, turning once.
