L1M2AS2...Portrait, 1/800, f/2, ISO 100, 85mm prime, Hand held. I love this photo of my granddaughter, love the movement of her hair, love the engagement of her eyes with the lens, love how at f/2 the background effectively disappears, love the neutral toning of the shot, but most of all...I just love her.

L1M2AS2..Portrait taken with sunlight to the side and slightly behind Wren. 1/500, f/5.6, ISO 200, 18-135mm, hand held @ 78mm. This is one of the better portrait shots I have taken with this lens. the background is softened off enough for Wren to pop and shine.

L1M2AS2...Portrait taken with sun behind subject. 1/640, f/5.6, ISO 200 (auto), 18-135mm @ 135mm. Again I'm not to keen on the clarity of this shot taken with this lens and I have also learnt that if not trying for a silhouette effect it is best not to have my subject with the sun from behind, too much shadowing on his face.

L1M2AS2.... Portrait.Subject side on to the sun, shot early afternoon. 1/320, f/5.6, ISO 200 (auto), 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM kit lens @ 113mm. This was taken with this lens as a comparison to my 85mm prime. I know which shots I prefer, this lens doesn't produce the same clarity as the other although I must admit it was taken whilst holding the camera and possibly the result would be better if taken with the use of a tripod.

L1M2AS2... Portrait. Subject in open shade facing into direction of the light. 1/800, f/1.8, ISO 100, 85mm prime lens, tripod. Is it acceptable to use my feet as a comparison between short and long lenses as I generally use this 85mm prime for portrait shots?

L1M2AS2...Portrait. Subject sitting side-on to full sunshine with exposure compensation. 1/500, f/2.8, ISO 100, 85mm prime, hand held.
