Hartley Valley. Blue Mountains. NSW. We were pleasantly surprised because all the farms in this area are so pretty. We drove all around, Hartley, Little Hartley and Hartley Vale. So many photo opportunities along the way. We even had some cows who very cautiously came up to the fence to say good morning to us.
A Miners' Hut, Lithgow Valley NSW, c.1880 The Vale of Clwydd Colliery was separated from the rest of Lithgow by a mountain spur, and operated at the edge of a secluded swampy gully. One of its tunnels extended under the swamp, making working conditions extremely unsafe.
