🍃✨🕸 Vicki brought this ethereal fairy to life using acrylics and mixed media. After painting a vibrant portrait, she decided to PAINT OVER IT transforming her canvas into a magical fairytale landscape. She used gold leaf and “no more gaps” for the 3D elements, plus pens and glazes to decorate the wooden frame surrounding this whimsical piece. A fairyland drawing by Australian illustrator Ida Rentoul Outhwaite was her inspiration and we adore the results.

Vibrant Collection of Abstract Florals
With this series of canvas paintings Jane followed the path of abstraction, exploring vibrant colour and tonal relationships, moving the viewers gaze in an entertaining way. Unlike traditional still life paintings, Jane wasn’t concerned with the detailed representation of the subject. She had fun with balancing the elements, taking more of an abstract approach to this colourful collection.
