Our bodies are incredibly intelligent, constantly adapting, healing, and maintaining balance without us even thinking about it. The brain processes vast amounts of information in milliseconds, while the nervous system responds instantly to keep us safe. Our immune system fights off threats, cells regenerate, and hormones adjust to our needs. Even pain and fatigue are signals guiding us to rest and recover. This innate wisdom allows our bodies to function seamlessly, proving just how complex and brilliantly designed we are.
Talking to someone when we're emotionally overwhelmed helps by providing support, perspective, and relief. Expressing our feelings out loud can reduce their intensity, making them feel more manageable. A supportive listener can offer comfort, validation, or even practical advice, helping us feel less alone. Verbalising emotions also helps organise our thoughts, giving clarity and a sense of control. Sometimes, just knowing that someone cares and is willing to listen can be enough to ease the emotional burden.
The time has come for us to take our power back. Whatever we allow will continue. We need to get back to the power of the people. Where the people call the shots by standing up to what we want to see in the world. This means we have to be proactive. If we're not happy with something, we have to speak up, even if it's uncomfortable. Remember, whatever we allow will continue unless we change! Everyone is capable of doing something, even if it's a very small task. Find out what an individual can do to help, & build it into a daily/weekly routine. Start small & build on it. Show the steps needed to complete a task. Everyone has the potential to contribute, & sometimes this just needs to be recognised & a task adjusted to suit their ability/skill level. When everyone has something to do, it gives us the satisfaction of helping those around us & the joy of contributing in some way.
