This weekend I travelled up to the Gold Coast to see family, as I do every few months. Over the last few times of coming up here, each time I have tried to get to @string_harvest to visit Cass and her magical store, without being able to. But this time, I made it! 😁🎉 And boy oh boy, I was so happy I did! 👌🏻 This tucked away shop front of the ever popular fair trade wool & string supplier was literally what maker’s dreams are made of.

I just love, love, LOVE raffia and it's many uses! While in Queensland visiting @string_harvest I picked up a beautiful bunch of the stuff and am wanting to use it in every way possible, but I need your help!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀😝⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀First thing on my raffia todo list is a simple weaved basket.
