Art Nouveau Furniture

Art Nouveau was a style of the fine arts, decorative arts, architecture and furniture that was most popular during 1890–1910. It was a link between the historic revival styles of the 19th century and Modernism, inspired by natural forms and structures and curved lines. The title derived from Siegfried Bing's gallery Maison de l'Art Nouveau in Paris but the style was also known as Jugendstil in central Europe, Modernisme in Spain, Secession in Austria-Hungary and Stile Liberty in Italy.
