KYLE STEED - The duality of man, acrylic on found plywood, 48 x 50 inches

Very cool sculptural copper horse! This would look best with good spot lighting against a white wall to show off all of the curves!

I like the tension between the natural form of the horse and the mechanistic medium of the pipes. "copper pipe sculpture by Annawili Highfield

I find beauty in imperfections and the mysteries and stories they reveal. Mark Bradford makes large scale mixed media works from found objects, in this case permanent wave papers collected from his mother's salon. On one hand, it's about the beauty of family connections, but on the other hand it is a very striking, map-like abstract painting. I want to peel away the layers! The subtle pops of color are visually appealing as well.
