D.I.Y Pallet Flag. Made this bad boy for about $15 a couple weeks after not being able to come to grips that I almost paid $45 for one just before the 4th of July. Its been outside for a few months now and looks just like the day I made it. As it should at $5 a can of paint. I used a paint and primer mix spray paint. *Tip. Try not to use the traditional red white and blue. Try an egg shell white and a deeper red and flatter blue.

I'm short on patriotic decor, so decided to pull out my wood and tools and make myself something. I was inspired by THIS PIN. Here's my version. Since I didn't have anything to make stars with, I went with what I did have, and used a circle dauber. Polka dots are just as cute, in my humble opinion! Such a fun piece to decorate with for Independence Day, or to leave up year round! I think it's found a permanent place on my porch :)
