I had been wanting to see Aruba since the first Mission Impossible movie came out in 1995 - you know that final scene with Tom Cruise and the flight attendant... Finally got around to visiting the island and its wonderful people many years later after discovering a steal of an airfare on a direct flight from Chicago for only $600. It was August, but still just couldn't say "no" to that one! If one is looking for international culture, you probably won't find a whole lot of it here. However…
