Athletic training facility

Wildcats Basketball's new training facility is part of the growing K-State sports complex, and is complete with new signage, donor recognition, and more.

In the summer of 2007, Bryant University announced the transition to Division I athletics and joined the Northeast Conference, becoming a full member in 2012. Key to the success of Bryant’s 22 teams and more than 550 student-athletes is its strength and conditioning program. The new Bulldog Strength and Conditioning Center provides varsity athletes with a state-of-the-art weight training environment designed both to prepare athletes for top-level competition and attract the best new talent.

"The facility, recently constructed near Brookwood Medical Center, will feature a 16,000-square-foot $1.5 million training space with an indoor turf field, weight room and sports medicine and therapy clinics, said a news release. Also in the space will be the A.P.E. Squad, which is an athletic performance enrichment specialist that will focus on nutrition, clinical sports massages and chiropractic practices." Tennessee Athletics unveiled Thursday approved plans for a $30 million upgrade and expansion of the current 145,000-square-foot Anderson Training Center.
