Bee birthday cards

It's been hard work to get back into my craftroom for various reasons but I was determined to make the Less is More Hexagon challenge. Ok its almost similar to the other Simon Says Stamps Bee card I've done but it did help to get me back on the crafting wagon. I think the papers are American Craft Soho Garden but I was looking for yellow patterned paper and didn't pay much attention what pack it came out of. I am hosting this week's color challenge and I have chosen Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green and Basic Black. Dessert is any other green you would like to add! I chose what actually seems like a lighter shade of Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist. I totally had daisies and bees in mind when I chose these colors though I'm pretty sure there will be other ideas. This version is my attempt to NOT use my retiring scallop dies... Now I'm curious to see what these colors bring to mind for you!

The Mix Challenge (MIX165) today is winged things & to have at least 2 different kinds of media. For my card, I used ink, Copic markers & embossing powder. And the little bees definitely have wings.
