Victorian terraced house alcoves. We were quoted £1700 to have built in cupboards and shelving in these alcoves which was way over our budget. Instead I purchased this cupboard on eBay for £185. It had already been upcycled in Annie Sloane Aubusson Blue chalk paint. We had a local carpenter make us up 6 chunky shelves costing around £350 and the heavy duty alcove brackets cost about £50 for 12 on eBay. I really love how it has turned out and at less than £600.
