Chullachaki- Peruvian myth: a short, ugly forest creature. He has one hoofed leg. He can take on the form of a loved one to lure his victims into the forest. His disguise is uncanny with the exception of one foot pointing backwards. He also challenges people to a fight, but if you refuse, you will be struck with horrendous luck.

This piece was commissioned by https://brad-p.deviantart.com/ . I was asked to recreate the Jaguar Temple from the Mayan city of Tikal. The client wanted the structures to look like they had recently been abandoned but had a fair amount of plant coverage to give it a "lost temple" feel. I really got into the research at the beginning of the project, but it was still fairly difficult to find definitive reference or designs for the structures. A lot of the design work is not 100% accurate, so…

Village environment design I did for my final project at VFS. "The legend says the Icamiabas were female warriors who lived near the Amazon river. Once a year, they had a ceremony dedicated to Jaci, the moon. During the ritual, the Icamiabas received the Guacaris, warriors whom they slept with.
