A unique, one of a kind pot handmade by me! This bumblebee pot is the perfect size for a small houseplant. The cute bees would be happy to look after whatever you choose to plant inside! How it's made: The shape is hand thrown on a pottery wheel, and the ceramic bees are hand crafted and painted before being attached to the main shape. I then use a golden yellow glaze and allow it to drip down the piece to mimic honey coming out of the bumblebee home. The piece is finally fired in a pottery kiln Ceramic Bees Pottery, Cute Ceramic Plant Pots, Cute Pottery Vase, Creative Pinch Pot Ideas, Honey Pot Pottery, Animal Vessels Ceramics, Flower Pottery Ideas, Small Vase Pottery, Plant Pot Pottery Ideas

David Johnson Ceramics on Instagram: "In this reel I’m making an extruded vase. This is a new design that I came up with late last year and was pleased with the outcome. I’m making them in two sizes, this one being the smaller of the two. I love how simple the initial creation of the form is. I’ve learned over the years that the less I touch the clay, the better it looks. I’m planning on loading up the bisque kiln soon and hope to have my first batch of glazed pots finished in a couple weeks. Stay tuned for a shop update in the coming weeks."
