Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Last Saturday, I featured this card for a blog hp with a theme of "Harvest Time". Today I'm back with the video tutorial for you and as usual I have gone with a different colour for the video. Back to using one of my favourite colours - Polished Pink! Teamed with some of my favourite Brights colours. And just a little bit of decoration inside! To see my video you can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below. Hope…

I have made a thank you card with the flowers from Lawn Fawn's Spring Flowers Backdrop Die set... I hope to make a card with the entire frame, but had die cut the flowers and that was as far as I got. These flowers have sat on my desk for WEEKS..first as die cuts, then I took and adhered them together and then had layered flowers(daisies). I needed to do something with them, so here we are! I cut strips of green for the stems, and made the leaves from an unlikely source...an old Paper…

This week's challenge at CAS-ual Fridays...challenge38...The Red Carpet is to make a card inspired by a movie. Can you tell which movie I chose?: I chose Finding Nemo, for when I saw the challenge and thought what to do...what to do....and thought some more...I remembered that I had this sentiment. It is something Dorey the fish says in the movie that has become a saying for my life and one I speak to others...JUST KEEP SWIMMING!! I used Broken China distress ink and swiped it over white…

I have made a birthday card using the pretty Spellbinders Button and Daisy Chrysanthemum die set... I was intrigued with the cards I saw made with these dies...I thought the flowers looked so pretty. I watched the video suggested on the packaging, and made mine similarly...I did not have the cool tool the woman used to score and such, but improvised. I had the hardest time with the layout (I'm having a real time with layouts on all my cards, of late, but I digress), but thought the polka…

Hello! Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week so far! I hope you're enjoying some beautiful spring weather! We've had a great week but we could really use some rain. I can't believe how dry it is here and we haven't even gotten to summer yet. I'm kind of dreading summer if we don't get some rain. We've got another fabulous sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week. Our hostess this week is the absolutely amazing Cecile Ribon! Cecile has the most amazing die collection I've ever…

The Simon Says Stamp Happy and Joyful Release just came out today, and I have made a card using one of the beautiful new hot foil plates/die set... Eucalyptus plants are strong, inside and out, and they symbolize many things, but one of the things they symbolizes is strength. I made this Mother's Day card to encourage this mom to have strength, and to remind her how important she is! This beautiful stem requires a Glimmer Hot Foil machine, which I used to heat up the plate, and then ran it…

This card was enabled from jandjccc- she uses these dies to make some fantastic cards. Cut them and colored with copies and added pearl dots and white gel pen. Very simple card using the designer paper. TFL
