Doom eternal concept art

The Tower of Babel(Hebrew: מִגְדַּל בָּבֶל‎, Mīgdal Bāḇel) is the boss level (E2M8: Tower of Babel) in the second episode of the original Doom. While there is no direct lore explaining its name, this location is notable that it 'magically builds' itself on Deimos as the player beats each level. It is from the tower, that the Marine fights the Cyberdemon and then goes into Hell (for the third Episode). This level appears again in DOOM as unlockable Classic Map called "Doom - Tower of Babel"…

Visual development work done for the Marauder in DOOM Eternal. The Marauder was a difficult enemy design to nail down, given that he was suppose to be the arch-enemy of the Doomslayer. We explored many different options for his look during production, from biomechanical armors, hellish gunslingers, barbarians to even samurai-influenced armors. This was a look/feel/mood piece done to help the art team with the atmosphere of the Arc Facility level. One of the many exciting challenges was working on differentiating various locations that may be perceived as similar. We have many awesomely talented team members across Art, Skybox, Concept, Engine, etc teams who worked together on making each area feel special and unique both in mood but in the environmental details.
