Kandie (Kemernow) is our Featured Stamper this week. Congratulations Kandie! I was inspired by her beautiful yellow blooms and layout in this card http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2794570?&cat=500&ppuser=430910 from her lovely gallery. I used a different flower die cut, different colours, and different border. I kept the layout, white textured background and Mother's Day theme. I sponged the MB die cut with SU and Archival inks and since I don't possess a border die of any…

Hello friends. We have a new challenge at Make My Monday and Pamela has chosen P is for... My first thoughts were pink or purple so I went with pink as I had these pretty pink pattern papers on my desk from a mini album I had made. I used some scrap pieces of 2 shades of pink to die cut the Spellbinders Club Blooms (Jan. Large Die of the Month Club). I die cut 2 of the flowers from a lighter pink and the buds from a slightly darker pink. The leaves are cut from Pear Pizzazz and the stems…

Can you think of a ‘different way’ to die cut a flower? Today I am excited to be Guest Designer for The Flower Challenge. And we were asked to ‘Use a Die’… what could I do if I didn’t have a matching die? I adore this dreamy image from Altenew’s Watercolor Coloring Book. And I … Continue reading A Unique Way to Die Cut a Pretty Flower – Guest Designer!

Hi everyone. After seeing this AMAZING card on my friend Bonnie's blog, I had to give this technique a try. It's from The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge that just started a few days ago. This is my first time checking out Kathy's amazing videos. She is AWESOME! Here's the link to the video used for today's card. I used Alexandra Renke's cornflower dies. Coloured them with Distress and SU! markers, making sure to colour on top of my card front so any over colouring would end up on this…

Hello, Today I am sharing a card that I have been wanting to make ever since I bought the Spring Shower cover die from Altenew last year. I don't know why but somehow cover dies just stump me. I love the look of them but then struggle to know what to do with it. Anyway the time came to have a go and after looking around (Pinterest mainly) for inspiration I made this: I started by embossing the die on a panel and then I coloured it with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Then I stacked 3 die…
