~ Circus Cake ~ I was so chuffed with how this one turned out! Though I have to say, the pain points were definitely figuring out the physics of the wonky tier and how to dowel it accurately. And also, braiding the border on said tier as I don't have a plait mould but I really wanted it braided. What did I do then? Literally plaited it by hand out of modelling paste, slowly and carefully. The catch at the time was you had to buy the whole kit online. It included 2 mixes, 2 icings, a hand towel, a spatula, and recipe cards...for 40 bucks! Nope! Next!
