People respond faster to you on a text than an e-mail. Why is that? Why will they ignore an e-mail, but get back to a text?

When someone is ignoring you...and you get annoyed

One of our favorites. She never had the phone down even when Ayden and I tried to watch a movie with her. Her fingers were moving so fast and she was smiling like she was in a different world ignoring us both and keeping what she texted shielded. It got that bad. And we never got more than a word or two in a text back from her.
