John Bell is a Scottish actor best known for his appearances in the Hobbit films. Bell was born on October 20, 1997, and made his acting and TV debut in an episode of 'Doctor Who' (BBC One, 2005- ) in 2007. He then landed the starring role in family drama A Shine of Rainbows (2009); the film, and his performance, received mostly positive praise.
