@Macro Mondays: When I saw this week's theme I immediately thought of chess pieces. The idea was to show the pawn as king. The picture is not photoshopped, it was taken with both pieces placed sideways on the same setting to create the illusion that the pawn casts the shadow of a king. A fun challenge :) HMM

The Valdraan Imperial Army's armor. The sashes indicate the status of each officer-- as ordinary soldiers do not claim any rank in the military. White sashes are for the Archangels, though CPT. Alden bears a red one-- distinguishing him as the leader of the pack and acknowledging his royal status ( red is typically worn exclusively by the royal family ).
