Sarah on Instagram: "Another method to cast on underarm stitches; there are many different methods, and I want to try them all to see which one I like the most. In this video, I knitted one side through the back loop and the other through the front leg. My personal favorite is knitting through the back loop; it looks really neat. Another advantage of this method is that there are no gaps between the cast-on stitches and your existing stitches. I honestly don’t know what this cast-on method is called or who came up with it. #knitting #knitlife #knittingaddict #knitfiberart #knitcraft #knitart #knitartists #slowfashion #makeyourownfashion #knittersofinstagram #knitpassion #handmadeknits #instaknit #knittingismytherapy #strickenmachtglücklich #stricken #strikk #knit" Cast On Knitting Tutorials, Knit Pillow Pattern, Knitting Techniques Tutorials, Crochet Knot, Cast On Knitting, Creative Project Ideas, Knitting Top, Casting On Knitting, Casting On Stitches

Alexandra on Instagram: "Every now and then, someone will tell me I should show my work in slow motion... But knitwear repair is already a slow process. And social media posts need to be short. So no, it doesn't really work to share my work in slow motion (or even real time). Instead, here's 30 minutes of mending compressed into 60 seconds! • • • Want to learn more about mending your knits? In my Subscriber posts, I share mini tutorials, tips & tricks and other useful info - including a step-by-step tutorial of the technique shown in this video.
