Ankylosaurus is an extinct genus of ankylosaur that lived in North America during the Late Cretaceous period. It was the size of an elephant. It lived alongside carnivores such as Tyrannosaurus rex but like all ankylosaurs it was not in any danger from them due to its armored back - which no carnivore would be able to bite through - and a tail club, which could mortally injure any predator, including Tyrannosaurus. I have never folded anything that complex before. Not bad for the first attempt! The legs appeared to be color changed, altough this color change isn't shown in the diagrams. I folded it out of square with a side length of 1 meter. The finished model is about 45 cm long. Diagrams are here: dev.origami.org/images_pdf/ankylosaurus.pdf

Designed and folded by Tran Trung Hieu (c) August 2009. I completed folding this model when I had a trip to Nagano with other friends. Then I refold with the paper that Mr Yamaguchi gave me.
