I’m beginning to experiment with creating my own screens thanks to supplies from @smalldogprints but in the meantime I’m playing with a few small screens they sent me to try out. These screens are super flexible and with a touch of @maycocolors screen printing medium added to my @speedball_ceramics underglaze they performed really well without the need for washing in between prints which made it super easy to achieve an all over pattern on a larger piece of clay. These mugs were part of a pre-order I did for @goatsofanarchy a few months ago (and there might just be a few left for sale on my website if you hurry you can scoop one up! 🐐♥️) and part of each sale helped raise funds for the sanctuary. It was one of my more complex designs and repeating it on over 40 mugs was no small feat. ✏️SUPPLIES & TIPS 🔵 I used @smalldogprints supplies to create the logo design on a custom screen. The process of creating the screen was quite easy and the flexible screen material makes it adaptable for printing on round forms. 🔵 I used @speedball_ceramics underglaze and mixed them to create custom colors for this two color design.
