Hooper's Store is located on Sesame Street between what has traditionally been the Fix-It Shop and the yard. Described in early materials as a candy store (and still referred to as late as Episode 2879 in 1991), Hooper's functions largely as a lunch counter and general store, and previously boasted a newsstand. The residents of Sesame Street visit Hooper's regularly, including Big Bird, who often drops by for a birdseed milkshake. In the season 8 premiere, which aired on November 29, 1976...

123 Sesame Street is the most famous address on Sesame Street. It is a large, two-story brownstone apartment building with an inviting front stoop. The basement of the building contains the rather spartan apartment of Ernie and Bert, and laundry room located in a further level below that. The first floor apartment was originally home to Gordon, with his wife Susan, and son Miles (as well as Olivia during her time on the show, and Chris when he first moved to Sesame Street in Episode 4136...

Sesame Street is the public thoroughfare where the central characters live on Sesame Street. Officially located in New York City — as is often confirmed by various sources — Sesame Street was designed to resemble an urban, inner city landscape, recognizable to children (although slightly idealized). While many of the inserts took place in puppet-scale interiors, ranging from Ernie and Bert's apartment and Charlie's Restaurant, to the countless walls or the varying game show sets of Guy...

Nobody actually told me how to get there. And in the mean time, I found many far less political places to "get to."
