Dirt cups were a HIT today as we wrapped up our rock and soil unit 🪱🌱🪨 We learned about the different layers of soil and the texture/makeup of each one. Then we added a food to our cup that represented that layer of soil. Of course, we had to top with some organic matter. My kids had been looking forward to this for weeks and rated it well above a 10/10 😋
