Heres the back yard view from our porch. I found a pin that had these railroad ties on a steep grade. I got my tractor out to dig out the slope for the ties. Filled it all in with gravel, and now we can walk down to the lake and enjoy the firepit. I also planted Periwinkles on both sides that should take over along each side. We plan to leave it as natural as possible. Next I will replace the chairs with some more suited to the firepit.
