The trail

Taken from the trail that leads to Bumpass's Hell. Not an easy hike for me, maybe because of the elevation of about 7000 feet, but mostly because I need to hike more. We (Mistydays) and I were the last ones on the trail as the sun was going down.

North Shore - Inland Heading up the hills off the shoreline are the Superior Hiking Trails, an elaborate system of well marked trails that follow stony creeks, rock shelves, meadows and dense woodland. This is where I go to find peace, tranquility and wonderful photo opportunities! The sign read: Durfee 3.0 MI Cliff Creek 4.1 MI County RD 14 6.8 MI Kadunce Wayside 9.3 MI I made it to Cliff Creek and back in 3.5 hours with only minor cuts and abrasions.... not bad for a Jr. Geezer…
