Repost @meredith.a.hill - In 2011 I swore to Tom that I was going to do “just one” ironman, to see if I could do it 😂 Tomorrow is 1 week on from Ironman #15- @ironmanoceania’s Ironman Cairns. I always love difficult conditions in races and Cairns delivered a hot wetsuit swim, a hot windy bike course and an even hotter marathon! I’m not particularly good in the heat, but I love the adversity. Giddy’up! A 9.36 finish was good enough for 5th.
