This provides a variety of resources/accommodations that help students communicate, express, and learn properly. It allows them to be able to show what they know, while also providing ways they communicate based on their needs. When a child isn’t able to communicate or show their work, teachers easily get frustrated, which carries to the students or students with disabilities who may need text to speech or a different communication activity than the one given to get their ideas across.

It impacts my understanding of UDL because these are all things that directly impact the projects I develop at work. Accessibility for the web is not clearly defined by a set of rules so it is important to keep universal principles in mind. The whole idea is to create something that can stand on its own accessibly.
