This is about 42 inches across, with some fantastic quilting in the sky. The colors are what blew me away, though. It really draws the eye with that brilliant moon in the sky.

My favorite Anna Grossnickle Hines quilt (so far). You can feel the cold, and the delight of making moonshadows on the snow.

Somewhat the same...yet a little different. Yesterday I started fusing some of the stripe strips with a little bit of a curve...and with some solids mixed in. My intention was to do a whole piece this way. The more I fused the more unhappy I became...so I let it sit. The minute I looked at it again this morning I knew it was too much. Pictures - Snowy landscapes - We had a couple of cool rainy days, so I made these two wall hangings. They are free-form landscapes, so no patterns were used. I love pulling groups of fabric from my stash and playing with the colors etc... so relaxing!
