Looking Back over the Years- Great Memories!

Best part of working for Arts Queensland was that there was always a buzz about something exciting happening somewhere in Queensland. If it looked like there wasn't going to be anything happening, you made it happen. Indigenous Regional Arts Development Fund was an action generator for many of our Indigenous communities.

Invitation from Dr. Kevin Murray,The Australia India Design Platform (wonderful ambassador and advocate for our Australian crafts makers)

Just as well someone knew what they were doing. This Doomadgee girl who was working at the Roadhouse certainly did. Apparently almost everybody out that way has to have this skill if they don't want to be dependant on others to come to the rescue. If she didn't, Genevieve Martin and i (Jenuarrie) would still be braving it out in amongst the anthills. i was just so impressed with how this task did not even faze our young rescuer.
