Log for students that did not do homework (explain themselves). This helps teachers keep track of how many times the same student does not do his/her homework, makes students think about why they did not do their homework, and establishes accountability.
Use colored dots to make groups easy. Put a different colored dot on each desk in a group. When you need to have a student from each table do something, you can simply ask for all the green dots to bring you the papers from their group.
My teacher uses a Noise Meter similar to this one. The Noise Meter is a cool way to remind students the correct noise level that they should be using! You just use the paper clip and move it to the appropriate noise level the students should be using.
Great idea for individual student organization for the teacher. SOOO MANY classroom organization ideas including using bins, baskets, closet space, hang your laminated anchor charts for reuse over the years, etc!
