Oh come on #Darwin, now you're just showing off! This sensational sunset was captured by @supr_lili from the #DarwinSailingClub at Fannie Bay in @ausoutbacknt. This lovely bay is just a stone's throw from the man-made Lake Alexander which is the perfect spot for a barbeque or picnic, and is safe for swimming all year round. Nearby, you can take a tour of the fascinating Fannie Bay Gaol, a significant historic site which attracts thousands of visitors each year.

Now doesn't this look like an intriguing set of stairs! You'll find this enchanting forest in the @bluemountainsaustralia, which is just a short drive from @visitnsw's capital city of @sydney. It may surprise you to know that there are actually heaps of pockets of temperate rainforest in the #BlueMountains, so you can be hiking through typical dry scrub and eucalypt trees, then you can suddenly find yourself surrounded by ancient ferns and tumbling waterfalls. Hands up if you'd rather be on this yacht right now, sailing into the @tropicalnorthqueensland sunset 🙌  These lucky passengers were sailing on Dickson Inlet in the beautiful @portdouglasdaintree region. This part of @queensland is not only about beaches and sunsets though, it's also steeped in Aboriginal history - try a guided Dreamtime Walk with one of the traditional owners of the #MossmanGorge, the Kuku Yalanji people - and be sure to drop in to #JanbalGallery to see talented local…

Cooo-eee! When visiting @tasmania's capital of @hobartandbeyond, admiring the city from the top of #MtWellington is a must-do experience - be sure to wear your winter woollies though as it can get rather chilly at this time of year (it is the top of a mountain, after all!) And if you're lacking in the mountaineering skills department, this is the mountain for you; there's a road the whole way to the summit so all you need to do is step out of the car - just double check the road is open if…

Sshhh, please don't wake us - we're daydreaming about soaking up the sunshine in @rottnestislandwa ☀️ This lovely island off the coast of @experienceperth is spectacular in summer, but the good news is that it's got a Mediterranean-style climate, so 'Rotto' winters are generally warmer than the mainland, with less rainfall. The water's slightly warmer too, ranging from an average of 23°C in summer to 19°C in winter. Sounds tolerable, right? Photo: @d.khoo
