Block Arcade, Collins Street – Mark Strizic , 1967 Still looks much the same. Arcades (& lanes) are wonderful in Melbourne city and help make the city different to the other capitals in Australia. The Hopetoun tea rooms are still in operation.

Next to the old Flinders Street Station (left of pic) on the south-west corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets stood the Old Fish Market, later housing Hanton's Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Market and Bicycle Stables. Demolished in 1900 to make way for the new Flinders Street Station. (nice ad for Fry's chocolates on building)

Next to the old Flinders Street Station on the south-west corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets stood the Old Fish Market.
