Completely desi style, no fancy ingredients, all that crunchy & chewy texture and best part is the Tadka on top. Here is the recipe - • - Take 1 cup moong dal (soaked for 2 hours) • - Cook the dal (do not make mushy; the grain should stay intact) - understand in Karnataka they don’t boil so depending upon the quality of dal, very gently cook it • - cool it down • - now add cucumber, roasted crushed peanuts, fresh coconut, coriander leaves, pomegranate • - add roasted jeera (roasted cumin seeds), salt and freshly squeezed lemon juice • - mix everything • - now my favourite part is to make tadka •
